Planning Supervision

Under the Construction Design & Management (CDM) Regulations 1994, Building Owners are required to appoint a Planning Supervisor, Principal Design and Principal Contractor, each undertaking specific roles. As Building Owner the CDM regulations place the responsibility for the Health & Safety of Design, Construction, Maintenance and Demolition of Building with the client.

Our experienced team have the detailed knowledge and technical skills to:

  • Execute requisite Notices to Health & Safety Executive.
  • Effect Competency checks of Designers, Contractors, etc.
  • Assess risk as required by the Act.
  • Prepare pre-contact Health & Safety Plans.
  • Co-ordinate the Health & Safety File at completion.

As designers, we pursue safe construction design methods in accordance with CDM requirements.
